Requirements
Our hire packages, and that of our suppliers, are only available
to holders of a full UK/EU drivers licence, which has been valid for one year minimum. All drivers must be over 21 . All drivers under the age of 25, will
be required to pay a daily surcharge of $20 (payable locally).
All drivers (a total of two drivers over 25, are included with our Standard package and unlimited drivers over 25, with our Premium package), will be required to produce their valid drivers licence and photographic ID prior to collecting
the car. Any fees required must be paid at this time.
By law, child seats are required for all children under the age of five. The parent/guardian will
be required to fit these seats. Seats are available, and can be reserved at the time of booking. A fee of $6
per seat/per day is payable locally
All our quoted prices are subject to change without notice. Once your booking has been
confirmed, by either full payment or payment of a deposit, the price you have been quoted will be fixed. If the price
increases you will not be required to pay any extra. If the price drops, no refund will be made.
The Car
The exact make, model and colour of your hire car cannot be guaranteed. When you
reserve a vehicle, you are only reserving a vehicle from that specific category and not the specific model. Vehicles displayed
online and in our adverts are for illustration purposes only. If a vehicle in your selected category is not
available, Dollar will supply a similar or larger vehicle at no extra charge to you.
Although upgrades are available, they cannot be guaranteed, it is advisable to book the size of vehicle you require prior to
departure. Upgrades can be made on arrival, and the fee will be payable locally
and will be shown separately on your rental agreement.
You hire vehicle will be provided with a full tank of fuel. If you have selected our Standard package,
then you will be required to pay for this tank of fuel. You are then free to return the vehicle to the depot empty. If you have
selected our Premium package this tank of fuel is included in the price. You are free to return the
vehicle to the depot empty.
About the booking
CarHire-Orlando.com act solely as a sales agent for our suppliers. Your car hire contract is
between you and our suppliers. Because you contract is directly with our suppliers we do not accept, and cannot
be held liable for, any claim of any nature. CarHire-Orlando.com cannot be held liable in event that our suppliers are not be able
to supply a vehicle or complete the contract with you. We would suggest that travel insurance which adequately covers such
circumstances be purchased.
The contract with our suppliers is complete once you sign the rental agreement with the car hire company, Dollar. On receipt of
full payment to our suppliers, our suppliers will issue you with a pre-paid car hire voucher. This voucher will be exchanged on arrival for a contract with
Dollar. By signing this contract you fully accept the terms and conditions of Dollar. You may be required to leave a cash or credit card
security deposit.
In accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling ) Regulations 2000, which covers the
on-line provision of services, you have the right to cancel your contract with CarHire-Orlando.com and our suppliers. This
right to cancel is limited to the period ending seven working days beyond the day after you agree to complete the
contract with us and our suppliers, often referred to as a 'cooling off' period. This right does not apply if this period encroaches the rental period and the contract has begun
with the hire company. Any request for cancellation must be given in writing.
Where a cancellation is made over six weeks prior to collection of the vehicle, we will withhold £25 and repay the remaining balance.
Where a cancellation is made within six weeks prior to collection of the vehicle, no refund will be made. No refund will be made for any unused portion of the
rental period, or where the vehicle is returned early.
